- The tour begins with an exhilarating cable car trip to the top of Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain with its breathtaking panoramic views of the city and beyond. (Weather permitting, cost of cable car not included.)
- Visit the Castle of Good Hope (c.1666-1679), the oldest surviving building in South Africa and a national monument which houses the famous William Fehr Collection of historic artworks and the Castle Military Museum.
- Drive to the Company Gardens, a city oasis which boast a Saffron Pear Tree believed to be the oldest cultivated tree in South Africa, a rose garden and pools with brightly coloured fish, the South African Museum and the fascinating Slave Lodge Museum which until 1811 housed the slaves belonging to the Dutch East India Company.
- The tour continues to the bustling flea market at Greenmarket Square which is packed with interesting African curios and hand crafted works of art.
- The Bo-Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, formerly known as the Malay Quarter, is an historical centre of Cape Malay culture.
- A visit to the District Six Museum, established in December 1994, provides a fascinating insight into the history of forced removals in South Africa during the Apartheid Era and a history of the a mixed community of freed slaves, merchants, artisans, labourers and immigrants who inhabited this vibrant centre.
