Day 1:
- Pick up from Cape Town International Airport or pre-arranged pick up point in our 8-seater luxury air-conditioned vehicle
- Travel over the Klein Drakenstein mountains to Worcester in the Breede River Valley enjoying the wonderful scenery which changes from lush orchards to dramatic mountain views.
- Continue along Route 62 towards the Little Karoo passing through Barrydale and Calitzdorp, famous for their wine and quality Port respectively, to Oudtshoorn, once the centre of the ostrich feather boom
- Overnight at a 5-star guest house on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis in Oudtshoorn.
Day 2:
- Rise early for a spectacular adventure in a hot air balloon and the fantastic spectacle of a Klein Karoo sunrise above the beautiful mountains and valleys. During the 45-60 minute flight, we will fly at 1000ft or more above ground level and at treetop height to give you wonderful views of the Karoo landscape
- Champagne is de rigueur after landing, while the crew packs the balloon away. Then back to the launch site by vehicle for a delicious buffet breakfast
- Then it's off to explore the world famous Cango Caves, one of the world's great natural wonders, sculptured by nature through the ages.
- Head for Wilderness on the Garden Route coast, a scenic drive that takes you over the breathtakingly beautiful Outeniqua Mountain pass
- Overnight at a 5-star guesthouse in Wilderness on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3:
- After breakfast, we set off for Knysna along the spectacular Garden Route coast, a scenic 40-minute drive
- In Knysna, we take a ferry across the Knysna Lagoon to Featherbed, a private nature reserve and National Heritage Site, for an exhilarating 4x4 trailer ride and a guided walk followed by a drink in the Milkwood Forest
- Lunch in Knysna at a popular waterfront restaurant, 34 Degrees South
- Leisure time at the Knysna Waterfront with its boutiques and souvenir shops
- Check into Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa, just 10 minutes from the Knysna Waterfront, South Africa's first truly luxury resort.

Day 4:
- After a leisurely buffet breakfast we visit Noetzie Beach, one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the world and home of the famous Noetzie Castles
- Transfer to Plettenberg Bay, 20 minutes away and check into Tsala Treetop Lodge, perched above the magnificent indigenous forests of the Tsitsikamma on wooden walkways
- After check-in we proceed to Central Beach in Plett where you will join a two-hour Ocean Safari excursion to view dolphins, seals and whales (when in season)
- Dinner at leisure at one of the excellent restaurants in Plettenberg Bay.
Day 5:
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then a scenic drive to Tsitsikamma Coastal National Park, where the Indian Ocean pounds against the rocky shores
- Depart for Plettenberg Bay airport for a one-hour scenic flight to a Big Five game reserve. On arrival at the private airfield, you will be transferred to Shamwari one of the world's most exclusive private game reserves in a malaria-free environment, on full board for 2 days. Luxury safari accommodation is offered in 6 different lodges.
Day 6:
- Enjoy your Big Five game experience with a personal game ranger to ensure that you learn about and enjoy the very best that African wildlife viewing can offer. In between game drives use your time to relax, read, have a spa treatment, swim, indulge in delicious cuisine, take a game walk, or visit the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuary.
Day 7:
- After breakfast you will be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport to catch your flight back home.
